* Experienced at troubleshooting existing field installations.
* Experienced with DCS, ideally Siemens.
* Familiar with communication buses(profibus) and fibreoptic networks.
* Able to recommend industry best practice when upgrading instrumentation systems.
* Familiar with industry documentation standards to help the client identify and close gaps.
* Acting for the client, can advise third-party engineering companies on the client's engineering requirements for instrumentation.
* Experienced at design reviewing third-party designs and recommending improvements.
* Instrumentation selection for new projects.
* Familiar with SIL classifications, HAZOP/LOPA and Atex regulations.
* Fluent in technical Dutch and English.
* Intrinsically motivated and able to walk into a new workplace and figure out systems without a lot of help.
